Web design in New Haven, CT

I am Akbar Zubairi. I design and build websites for businesses in New Haven and across Connecticut, and I still serve clients worldwide. The MAZ Solutions is a one-person studio at 61 Liberty Street, New Haven, CT 06519. If you want a site that is clear, fast, and easy to find, you can hire me directly.

Who this is for

Most of the local work I am set up for is a small business that already has customers and a website that is not doing its job. That might be a home-service company whose phone-heavy site fails a mobile speed test, a professional office whose pages never show up for the services they actually sell, or a shop that outgrew a template and needs a rebuild without losing the URLs Google already knows.

I also build marketing sites for teams outside Connecticut. I do not run a walk-in studio or a sales team. You get me, the same person who designs the page and writes the code. Custom sites, apps, and automation start at $2,500, which is a starting point, not a fixed page count. After you describe the job, I send a written scope. The smaller jobs below use the prices already published on their own pages.

What I can do, and what it costs

These are the prices already published on the offer pages. I am not adding a New Haven surcharge or a local discount. If a job is larger than the published cap, I quote it in writing instead of inventing a number here.

Custom website

From $2,500

A fixed-scope web or app project. I quote the pages, integrations, and timeline in writing after I understand the job. You own the code on a custom build.

How working together goes

The work is async. You do not sit through a sales call, and I do not ask you to book one. You write down what is broken or what you want built. I reply in writing, usually within one business day, with the questions that change the scope. Email is info@themazsolutions.com, or use the contact form and confirm your address so I know the inbox is yours.

Once the scope is agreed, updates stay written. For a fixed project that means the deliverables, the price, and what is out of scope, then progress notes as the pages land. For Async Studio it means a queue: one request at a time, a written review when the page is ready, and the option to pause a month when you do not have a request. I do not add a standing meeting to explain the work.

  • You send the URL, the goal, and any deadline in writing.
  • I reply with scope, price, and what I need from you. No call required.
  • You approve the written scope. Fixed jobs are priced before the build starts.
  • I send written updates as the work is ready for review.
  • You keep the accounts: hosting, WordPress, Search Console, and the domain.

Where I work

The studio address is 61 Liberty Street, New Haven, CT 06519, USA. I work with businesses in New Haven and in nearby towns: Hamden, West Haven, East Haven, Milford, Branford, Orange, North Haven, Wallingford, Guilford, Stratford, Bridgeport, and Hartford. If your town is not on that list and you are in Connecticut, write anyway. The list is the area I expect to serve, not a fence.

Being local does not mean I drive to a kickoff. The same written process covers a client on the Green and a client in another country. Serving clients worldwide is still how the studio works. The New Haven address is where I am, and Connecticut is where a lot of the buyer-intent searches for this kind of work come from. If you want the person doing the work to be the person you write to, that is the offer.

I will not invent a client list or a review score to make this page look busier. If we have not worked together, the way to judge the fit is to read an offer page, send the URL, and see whether the written reply matches the problem you have.

What I need from you

For a new site, I need the services you want the page to explain, any pages that must stay at the same URL, and examples of sites you think are clear. Logos, photos, and the real offer copy can come after the scope is set. I would rather start with a short note than wait for a perfect brief.

For a Speed Fix I need the public URL first. The free report does not need a login. The paid fix needs WordPress admin, and hosting access only when the host is what is slowing the pages down. For an SEO review, submit the site on the SEO page and confirm your email. I send a one-page written review. Search Console access is optional and only if you want a deeper pass later.

For a migration I need the current URLs and the platform you are leaving, so the pages Google already indexes can keep their addresses. For Async Studio, the first request can be one page. You can send it before you pay. If you do not want to keep the result, you owe nothing. That term is on the Async Studio page.

Questions

Do you take sales calls?

No. I work in writing. You send the goal through the contact form or by email, I reply with questions and a fixed scope, and updates stay in writing. There is no call to book.

Do I have to be in New Haven to hire you?

No. I am based at 61 Liberty Street in New Haven and I work with businesses across Connecticut. I also serve clients worldwide. Distance does not change the written process.

How much does a small-business website cost?

Custom web projects start at $2,500. The final quote comes after I read what you need. Smaller, specific jobs have their own prices: Speed Fix at $497 or $897, an SEO fix sprint at $750, and a site move from $1,500 for up to about 15 pages.

What if my WordPress site is already live but slow?

Start with the Speed Fix page. The $497 tier covers the homepage plus up to 4 key pages. The $897 tier covers the whole site. Both include a 7-day turnaround and a money-back guarantee if the pages in scope do not pass mobile Core Web Vitals.

Can you maintain a WordPress site after it launches?

Yes. MAZ WP Care is a monthly WordPress plan at $149, $249, or $399, depending on the tier. It covers staging-tested updates, backups, and a monthly health PDF. It is separate from the one-time Speed Fix and from SEO care.

Send the site, or the job

If you are in New Haven, elsewhere in Connecticut, or somewhere else entirely, the next step is the same. Write what you need. I will answer in writing with the offer that fits, or say when a custom quote from $2,500 is the right path.
